Biography:
Ryun – Kinesiologist & Strength Coach
Ryun brings a fresh, energetic approach to coaching, backed by a kinesiology degree from McGill University. Born to Japanese and Korean parents and raised in Dubai, he grew up immersed in sports. Football, basketball, and volleyball shaped his early love for movement, teamwork, and performance.
After injuries shifted him away from competitive sports, Ryun discovered a passion for strength training and long‑term athletic development. That experience sparked his interest in understanding how the body moves, adapts, and performs — something he now brings into every coaching session.
During his studies at McGill, he built a strong foundation in exercise physiology, biomechanics, movement assessment, injury prevention, and program design. He uses this knowledge to create training plans that are personalized, effective, and sustainable for every client.
Ryun has coached in both Canada and Dubai, gaining experience in sports‑performance environments that strengthened his eye for movement and his ability to coach with clarity and purpose. His style is professional, detail‑oriented, and adaptable. He focuses on helping clients train intelligently, move confidently, build strength, and develop habits that last.
Outside the gym, Ryun stays active through football, padel, and basketball. He also enjoys video games and follows the Premier League and NBA — proudly supporting Tottenham Hotspur and the Los Angeles Lakers.
