Kevin Leitch

Kevin Leitch

Trainer

Biography:

Kevin Leitch has been involved in athletics his entire life having competed as a member of the track and field
team at both the inter-Guyana and joint services games. His desire to push himself and explore new
athletic interests has led to competing in bodybuilding, teaching bootcamps, fit-boxing and coaching
youth community football, one of his favorite sports.

Kevin is an experienced certified personal trainer and a certified specialist in Older Adult Fitness
with the YMCA and Canfit respectively. Kevin is also a two-time Quebec and national champion in
natural bodybuilding and represented Canada twice at the world championships – but don’t let this
intimidate you. Kevin is all about modifying exercises to adapt to all fitness levels so that everyone can
safely attain their fitness goals – the key to a happy life is a healthy life.

Kevin believes in promoting a healthy lifestyle with his clients and has Canadian Red Cross Standard First
Aid & CPR/AED Level C certification. He focuses on the range of motion, muscle tone and utilization of
the proper techniques with the right form to ensure that his clients realize their goals and potential
safely. Kevin wants to pass along his enthusiasm for fitness to his clients, so while he keeps his sessions
on point, he also wants his clients to have fun and try out new exercises to stay motivated.
Kevin loves to talk with people about fitness, so feel free to come up to him and just start up a
conversation but fair warning – football chats can be long!
